20 - Germany Songs

This film is about a dozen beautiful songs by Turkish and Kurdish immigrants in Germany. Although quite popular in the community, many remained unknown to the majority of society for decades. The singers and composers - from an 85-year-old folk singer to a young female rapper defying role assignments - go on a concert tour and tell the sixty-year-old story of Turks and Kurds in Germany episodically through their songs.
