57 - Tosca by Giacomo Puccini

To mark the 125th anniversary of Tosca, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma presented a special live performance broadcast on Rai 3 under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture. Puccini’s masterpiece, set in Papal Rome during the Napoleonic era, featured Eleonora Buratto, Jonathan Tetelman and Luca Salsi, alongside a reconstruction of the original 1900 staging. The TV production used aerial shots of Rome’s historic sites: Sant’Andrea della Valle, Palazzo Farnese and Castel Sant'Angelo.
