French film and television producer François Duplat will receive the EBU-IMZ Outstanding Achievement Award at this year’s Golden Prague Festival. The award recognises his exceptional contribution to bringing the performing arts to audiences through film and television.
Duplat began his career in cinema and has worked on numerous important European and international productions. In 1994, he founded the Paris-based production company Bel Air Media, specialising in high-quality recordings of opera, ballet, theatre and concerts, as well as documentaries exploring culture, history and society.
Throughout his career, François Duplat has helped connect outstanding artists and cultural institutions with audiences around the world. His long-standing commitment to the audiovisual presentation of the performing arts makes him a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious international honour.
The award will be presented on 24 September 2026 at 20:00 during the 63rd Golden Prague International Television Festival prize-giving ceremony at the Municipal House in Prague.
