Today marks the official launch of the film submissions for the 60th edition of the Golden Prague International Television Festival. This prestigious festival takes place September 20-23, 2023 in Prague and is considered one of the most significant events in the television arts industry.

Golden Prague is one of the oldest television festivals in the world, and each year, filmmakers and television professionals from around the globe attend. 

Programmes in the competition are divided into three categories as follows:

  • Documentary programmes dedicated to music, dance and theatre
  • Recordings of stage work (recordings of operas, operettas, musicals, dance, ballets, theatre performances etc.)
  • Recordings of concert performance (symphonic/orchestral performances, chamber music, recitals etc.)

In addition to individual programmes Golden Prague Festival also accepts individual parts of series or cycles for the competition, if it is possible to judge them on their own merit

Winners are awarded prestigious prizes, including the Grand Prix Golden Prague, which is considered one of the most significant awards in the television arts industry.

The Golden Prague International Television Festival is an important platform for filmmakers and television content creators from around the world. It allows them to showcase their work and receive recognition for their creative efforts.
