
We are delighted to present the exceptional international jury for this year's Golden Prague Festival. Five distinguished professionals will carefully evaluate the competing films in two rounds and decide on the prestigious awards.
Jury Chairman
Elmar Kruse (Germany) is a respected media executive and owner of C Major Entertainment, which operates worldwide in music consulting, marketing, and distribution. He has received the prestigious ECHO Klassik Award three times and stands behind many significant productions, including John Neumeier's ballet Nijinsky and the documentary The Three Tenors – Voices for Eternity. His extensive experience in the music industry makes him an ideal jury president.
Jury Members
Michalina Jaxa-Stencel (Poland) is a talented instrumentalist specializing in the flute and historical transverse flutes. She channels her passion for early music and jazz into her current role as Chief Specialist in the Department of Trade and International Relations at TVP S.A., where she fosters collaboration between European public media. Her experience also includes editorial work in TVP Kultura's cultural department focused on classical and jazz music.
Theresa Selzer (Austria) serves as Commissioning Editor and Head of Classical Music at ORF III. Since 2022, she has led the Erlebnis Bühne programme, which delivers live broadcasts, recordings, and co-productions of operas and symphonic concerts from across Austria. Her professional background includes work as a freelance editor for the cultural section of Austria's newspaper Die Presse.
Pavel Trojan (Czech Republic) is the current Director of the Prague Spring public benefit corporation, which organizes the eponymous international music festival, music competition, and the Rudolf Firkušný Piano Festival. A graduate of the Prague Conservatory and the Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in composition and conducting, he is committed to expanding the festival's programme and strengthening international co-production projects. He also serves as President of the Association of Music Festivals of the Czech Republic.
Federico Llano (Spain) brings rich experience in television production and international co-productions to the jury. After a forty-year career at Spanish public broadcaster TVE, where he led television festivals and the Spanish delegation for the Eurovision Song Contest, he focused primarily on classical music. His portfolio includes producing Vienna Philharmonic concerts, recordings of operas from Madrid's Teatro Real, and numerous other significant music projects.
