Maria Willer

Maria Willer is producer and managing director of the Berlin and Hamburg-based company 3B-Produktion, known for award-winning productions that are focusing on music, the arts, history and current affairs. Particularly noteworthy are the feature length documentaries Beethoven’s Nine – Ode to Humanity (finalist at the Prix Italia), the Emmy-nominated music documentary Music Under the Swastika and the two Golden Prague winners The Florence Foster Jenkins Story and Leonard Bernstein – A Genius Divided.

Before founding 3B-Produktion together with Bernhard von Hülsen in 2013, Maria Willer was an editor and presenter at the German broadcaster Klassik Radio. She trained as a print journalist specializing in film and pop culture. In addition to her journalistic work, she founded the Hamburg Music Kindergarten (Musikkindergarten Hamburg).
