Marie Kučerová is a Czech music manager and television producer and has been Director of the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013. She studied history and musicology at Masaryk University in Brno. She worked for Czech Television as a producer of music programmes from 1989 to 2013. She represented Czech Television at IMZ (International Music Centre) and EBU (European Broadcasting Union) for several years, co-producing music and dance films such as Beethoven's Hair, CarMen, The Diary of One Who Disappeared, The Cunning Little Vixen, Eurovision Young Musicians and Eurovision Young Dancers. She has been Director of the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013, where she is responsible for a large symphonic orchestra, the concert season and the organisation of four international music festivals. Currently she is also part of the team preparing the construction of a new concert hall for the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra.
