Rita Lombardi

In September 1987, at a very young age, she started her collaboration with Sacis (a subsidiary of RAI) as an Assistant of the Managing Director.

In 2000 she was employed in RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana and began her experience in Performing Arts Department where in January 2009 she was appointed Head of Performing Arts Sales. 

In this role she was involved in the phase of examination and selection of the best productions shooted by RAI.

She has been the representative of RAI in the world for the performing arts contents and she managed all the relationships of RAI with the most important theatres in Italy, starting from Teatro alla Scala and public foundations and institutions.

Since 2019 she has been the member of IMZ Board.

Her goal is to improve the RAI brand and the Italian bel canto all over the world. She also takes care of all the most important live events produced by RAI Cultura with rights available for abroad.
