84 - Adding motherhood

Mayumi Yamaguchi and Nathalie Nordquist, are passionate dancers, celebrated, expressive and determined. With many dancers, pregnancy puts an end their career, but Mayumi and Nathalie refuses to give up dancing. In this documentary we follow their personal experience and physical journey back to the stage after becoming mothers – but also the bond between dancing mother and child. When they return to the stage, it’s to perform Alexander Ekman’s Shift.
