9 - Ballets Suédois - art, dance and late nights

What would you do if you could afford everything and there were no limits? Rolf de Maré, one of Europe’s wealthiest men a hundred years ago, started a dance company. He recruited the best dancers and took over the most interesting stage in Paris, Théâtre de Champs-Elysées. The young company toured and spread their ideas with unexampled music and strong visual elements. The Ballets Suédois strongly influenced the development of the American ballet and modern dance all over Europe.
