They have made it through four competitive rounds. Now three talented young musicians will each perform a full concerto in front of a distinguished panel of judges. One will become BBC Young Musician 2018. This year sees the 40th anniversary of the first ever BBC Young Musician and this year’s finalists will perform with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. There will also be a performance by the 2016 winner, the now internationally renowned cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason.
