"Requiem für einen jungen Dichter" (Requiem for a Young Poet) by the German composer Bernd Alois Zimmermann is one of the most important compositions of the 20th century and creates a sound sculpture of 50 years of European history (from 1918 to 1969). Based on the impressive performance at the Cologne Philharmonic Hall in 2013, the film takes up the acoustic Collage technique of Zimmermann and transforms it to an audiovisual field of outstanding experience.
