2 - Betroffenheit

Award-winning dance-theatre created by Crystal Pite and Jonathon Young. “Betroffenheit” is based on Young's experience of losing his teenage daughter, niece and nephew in a fire. Combining tap, salsa, spoken word, song and puppetry with Pite's emotionally charged choreography, “Betroffenheit” is a witty and tender-hearted exploration of disconnection, isolation and addiction. Described as raw and riveting, this genre-busting production won Dance Critics' and Olivier Awards.
