In honour of the centenary of the Republic of Latvia, a new symphony orchestra was created with Latvia’s best young musicians. Under the leadership of the conductor, Music Director of the Komische Oper Berlin, Ainārs Rubiķis, the artists performed in the gala concert. Three world famous Latvian-born stars worked with the orchestra – soprano Kristīne Opolais, violinist Vineta Sareika and accordionist Ksenija Sidorova. Latvia’s nature and musical education have revealed wonderful musical talents.
