78 - Dvořák's songs: a piece of silence in music

The Opera of the Slovak National Theatre rendered the most beautiful song cycles by Antonín Dvořák – Gypsy Songs, Biblical Songs and Love Songs – specially for a music and film project. Performed by soprano Eva Hornyáková, bassist Peter Mikuláš, and pianist Andrea Bálešová. Guest actress Anežka Petrová recited a poem by Bohuslav Reynek, Rowan Trees in the Mist. The visual concept was prepared by director Samuel Spišák.
