52 - Europakonzert 2020 from Berlin

Despite the corona pandemic, the Berliner Philharmoniker’s annual Europakonzert took place, albeit in a very special setting given the circumstances. Under the utmost precaution, 15 musicians from the orchestra, maestro Kirill Petrenko and soprano Christiane Karg enchanted the audience in front of their TV sets from the musical heart of Berlin, the Philharmonie. For this symbolic concert, to encourage and to thank people in Europe and worldwide, a very comforting programme has been selected.
