Internationally acclaimed opera director Robert Carsen presents his interpretation of Leoš Janáček’s satirical and fantastical opera in a production by the National Theatre Brno. Scottish tenor Nicky Spence stars in the title role, joined by the soloists and chorus of the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno, under the musical direction of conductor Marko Ivanović. The production received international acclaim and won the prestigious International Opera Award for New Production in 2025.
