The Force of Destiny is a documentary on the Prima at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala, following Verdi’s La forza del destino. Directed by Anissa Bonnefont, produced by Federation Studios, MDE Films & Rai Documentari, it follows rehearsals up to the 7 December opening. Leo Muscato’s staging, conducted by Riccardo Chailly, features Anna Netrebko, Ludovic Tézier and Brian Jagde. Interview-free, it uses music by Jack Bartman. Premieres on Rai 5 on 18 December.
