A thrilling new film about Dutch virtuoso Janine Jansen and her journey to record a unique album on 12 of the world's most valuable Stradivari violins. Accompanied by Sir Antonio Pappano, we follow Janine from her home town of Stockholm to a hectic ten day period in London where she meets the violins, selects works that fit them best, learns their histories and foibles and then falls ill with Covid. In a feat of determination, she nevertheless comes back to record an unforgettable album.
