At 63 years of age, Jiri Kylian is one of the most important choreographers of his generation.
In spite of his international fame, there had never been a documentary dedicated to Kylian. This wasn't a mere coincidence. It was due to the choreographer's extreme reluctance to engage in such an exercise. The fact that he accepted to participate in this documentary is therefore exceptional.
Filmed in Prague and The Hague, this film shows Jiri Kylian working with the Netherlands Dance Theater. Through wonderful excerpts of some of his masterpieces we have the chance to see one of the most famous choreographers at work.
