A portrait of an original violinist, singer, composer, and band leader, Jiří Pavlica, who has led the ensemble Hradišťan for forty-five years, and whose work transcends the boundaries of musical genres and continents. This documentary features an artist who has deeply understood and internalized folk music, drawing inspiration from it and conveying its energy and emotions to audiences with remarkable spontaneity. "We each have our inner microworld and outer macroworld," says Jiří Pavlica, "and the inner one influences the outer one," reflecting on his artistic philosophy.
