John Neumeier is one of the greatest choreographer of our time. The film goes deep into his path and career drawing a portrait of a great dancer, a wonderful teacher and a person deeply rooted in art and religion. Following Neumeier on a trip to Chicago and Milwaukee, we learn about his roots and upbringing, while the shootings of the ballet choreographies during rehearsal reveal his current artistic work and commitment to dance, aesthetics and expression in the most authentic way.
