Wally, the daughter of the wealthy Stromminger is strong and was raised like a boy. Secretly she loves the hunter Hagenbach, but her father wants her to marry sneaky Gellner. Wally escapes into the mountains. When her father dies, she returns. During a dance Hagenbach steals her a kiss. Humiliated she promises to marry Gellner if he kills Hagenbach. But when the murder is done Wally tries to rescue Hagenbach. Alone in the mountains she sees him declaring his love. An avalanche swepts him away...
