46 - Mirages

‘Mirages’ is a survival story told by a strong female voice dealing with questions around identity, empowerment, and belonging to a community. The music and dance film is combining performing arts and virtual scenography. The visual world is composed by shooting the film on a real-time virtual stage, using virtual technology, wherein performers interact with motion-capture animations. Music is by composer Kaija Saariaho and film directing by Marikki Hakola.
