70 - MUSICA NON GRATA

The Musica non grata project focused on Czech-German-Jewish musical life in Prague between the two World Wars, which was almost completely brought to an end by the Nazi occupation. Initiated by Per Boye Hansen, Artistic Director of the National Theatre Opera and the State Opera, the project presented opera productions, concerts and accompanying programmes between 2020 and 2024. Some of the works were performed for the first time in more than a century. Filmmaker Stein-Roger Bull documented the project and its development.
