We’ve all heard of them before, the great stars of the opera world; from Anna Netrebko to Cecilia Bartoli, from Jonas Kaufmann to Rolando Villazon. They all had to start from scratch; at some point they studied their métier before claiming their place on the stages of some of the world’s most renowned opera houses and concert halls.
