74 - Othello

Iago sows the seeds of jealousy in Othello’s mind, fabricating a story of an affair between Iago’s rival Cassio and Othello’s wife Desdemona. Iago’s trickery cements Othello’s suspicion into mistaken certainty. Othello murders the innocent Desdemona. Confessions lead to the revelation of Iago of Iago’s plot. Appalled by the wrong he has committed, Othello commits suicide.
