Presence, the 75th anniversary concert of the most outstanding Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks, was broadcast live on Latvian Television from the Concert Hall ‘Cēsis’ with no audience present due to the pandemic. Conductors Andris Poga with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, and Māris Sirmais with the State Choir Latvija performed an emotional program of Vasks’ music. In Plainscapes and Vox Amoris, soloists, sisters Balanas, violinist Kristīne and cellist Margarita, joined the orchestra.
