The French choreographer Mourad Merzouki was back into the baroque repertoire in 2022 with a new creation: Phénix. This time surrounded by Lucile Boulanger, an internationally renowned French gambist and the famous French electro music band: Arandel. Together, they create an 'Electro-baroque' soundtrack on which the gambist – dressed in red as a symbol of the phoenix bird – interacts with the dancers in a powerful alchemy.
