29 - The Rake's Progress

This production of The Rake’s Progress with the Gothenburg Symphony marks Barbara Hannigan’s debut as an opera conductor and is a special “labor of love” for her since she has hand-picked the soloists in international auditions in Stockholm, Zürich, Paris and London as part of her mentoring program Equilibrium. In this unique and refined semi-staged production, director Linus Fellbom invites the audience to a journey in time and space, from a distant future to the present day.
