The world-famous Latvian conductor Andris Nelsons conducts the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra at their first ever concert in Riga, the city where Wagner spent two turbulent years of his life. The concert features symphonic episodes and arias from the operas Lohengrin, Parsifal, Walküre, Götterdämmerung. Soloists are world renowned soprano Christine Goerke and tenor Klaus Florian Vogt. The Bayreuth Festival Orchestra comprises the best musicians of world-class German and international orchestras.
