68 - RIGA JURMALA MUSIC FESTIVAL. Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Rudolf Buchbinder, Susanna Mälkki

In the summer of 2019, a brand-new symphony orchestra festival RIGA JURMALA took place. The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Susanna Mälkki with legendary Rudolf Buchbinder on the piano performed Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major, Op. 83 and Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 2 in D Major, Op. 36. The sold-out concert had the special atmosphere that always prevails at the Latvian National Opera House when such outstanding musicians are visiting.
