Sisterqueens portrays three best friends – Jamila (9), Rachel (11), and Faseeha (12) – over a period of four years as they challenge the German capital Berlin as feminist rappers. In the hope of a just world, they rap about being girls, participate in their first demonstrations, explore what self-determination can look like for them, and become teenagers in the process.
