To mark the 300th anniversary of Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, this musical film combines a complete performance of the four concertos, performed by Europa Galante under Fabio Biondi, with a journey across Europe. Violinist and presenter Marina Chiche guides us through the cities that shaped Vivaldi’s life: Venice, Mantua, where he composed The Four Seasons; Amsterdam, where the work was published in 1725; and Vienna, bringing the composer’s story vividly to life.
