A dialogue of words and music based on life of violinist and conductor Alma Rosé. A monodrama by Zdeněk Geist based on tragical story of Gustav Mahler’s niece with musical accompaniment by Antonín Dvořák, Viktor Ullmann, Gideon Klein and others, performed by the Graff Quartet, featuring Kamila Janovičová. The work depicts a period of several war years when Alma, on the run, maintained only written contact with her family in England and America and her chances for survival steadily decline.
