The Gala evening full of emotion, outstanding performances, and unique moments. That is exactly what the ceremonial presentation of the festival’s highest awards promises, an event you can watch on the cultural channel ČT art.
The highlight of the program will be the awarding of the Grand Prix. Exceptional creators will also receive the Czech Crystals in three categories, along with a number of special prizes, such as the Czech Television Award, a Special Mention for an outstanding artistic achievement, and the prestigious VIZE 97 Award of the Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation.
This year, international partners will once again take part. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the International Music and Media Centre (IMZ) will present a Special Award for Outstanding Artistic Contribution.
The evening’s musical accompaniment will be provided by mezzo-soprano Ester Pavlů, a prominent figure on the opera scene, and Emil Viklický, one of the most distinguished Czech jazz musicians and composers.
The evening will be broadcast by Czech Television on the cultural channel ČT art.
