Epoque Quartet is a distinctive and versatile ensemble on the Czech music scene. Their repertoire ranges from classical music to jazz, film scores, and contemporary dance music. For twenty-five years, the four unique musicians who make up the quartet have been skillfully navigating between genres, styles, and eras.
Filmed over the course of a year, director Jakub Sommer's documentary offers a portrait not only of their history, humor, and musical charisma, but also of the everyday struggles and joys of four musicians in their prime.
