This documentary is a portrait of what is now a legendary music club in Krnov, a town in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Over the course of two years, students of Multimedia at the Silesian University in Opava used a “collecting method” to record a number of concerts by some of the best Czech bands, as well as several legends of the world music scene, such as Deep Purple. The film vividly captures both the history and the present through personal testimonies. The music club is a place of cultural encounters not only for people from Krnov, but from the entire surrounding region. Without this music scene, the contemporary musical culture of the region would certainly be much poorer.
