Special Screening II.: The Heart of Krnov’s Music Club

The documentary portrays a now-legendary music club in Krnov that has become an important centre of cultural life not only for the town itself, but for the entire region.

Over the course of two years, students of Multimedia at the Silesian University in Opava documented a series of concerts by leading Czech bands as well as renowned figures from the international music scene, including Ian Paice, drummer of the legendary Deep Purple.

Through concert footage and personal accounts, the film traces the club’s past and present, highlighting its importance as a place where people, music and generations come together. Over the years, the club has become an integral part of the cultural life of Krnov and the surrounding region, playing an important role in shaping its vibrant music scene.
