This documentary portrait focuses on the exceptional choirmaster Jiří Chvála, who over several decades transformed the Kühn Children’s Choir into an internationally respected ensemble performing on prestigious world stages alongside top conductors and orchestras. It follows not only his remarkable artistic achievements and the choir’s successes, but above all his unique pedagogical and human approach, through which he shaped generations of children.
Through authentic moments from rehearsals and concerts, the film shows how profound an impact art can have on personal growth, values, and relationships. At the same time, it reflects on Jiří Chvála’s legacy and the future of the choir, which even today connects hundreds of children and former members across generations—in a space where music creates lasting human bonds.
