
As every year, one of the Festival afternoons will be devoted to special film screeningswith the personal attendance of the films’ creators or protagonists who will take part in a discussion after each screening. This is a unique opportunity for the audiences not only to meet but also to talk with the artists.
A portrait of Hans van Manen, one of the world's greatest choreographers, who at the age of 90 has an incredible 150 ballets to his credit. Filmmaker Reiner E. Moritz succesfully made van Manen, long-time resident choreographer of the Dutch companies HET Nationale and Nederlands Dans Theater, talk about his inspiration, his muses, the way he conceives dance and the way he transmits his ideas. The new documentary will be presented at the Golden Prague by Reiner E. Moritz, the author and the chairman of the jury of the jubilee edition in person.
The screening will be held in the former Operations Building of the National Theatre. Movie in its original version (English) with Czech subtitles.
