EBU - IMZ Panel: Turning classical music (back) into entertainment

Golden Prague EBU IMZ Panel

The EBU together with the IMZ holds a panel, which is also part of the IMZ Academy Sessions. Highlighting a range of speakers including broadcasters, producers, artists and format distributors will discuss ways in which classical music can be integrated into broadcasters’ entertainment offers, so they can reach wider audiences. What events and formats have been successful in cutting through and bringing new, large audiences to classical music? Is ‘classical music’ still a useful frame, or does this approach require a new scope?
